May 6, 2012 - Children's Day

My kids often ask "why is there Mother's Day and Father's Day but no kid's day?"  My answer is always "every day is kid's day."  Well I was wrong.  Japan celebrates Children's Day on May 5.  I had the pleasure of photography this lovely woman's grandchildren for her on this very day.  Enjoy.

So fresh and so new

I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful six day new little girl.  Her mommies were so in love with this precious bundle.  Enjoy the peeks.

Ella Bella

It's always nice to follow children through the milestones of their lives.  I've had the pleasure of photographing this beauty on her first and second birthdays.  Here are a few from the birthday beach shoot.

Look who's 1!

Wow, it's been a busy year so far.  I'm finally digging out from under all of the editing.  This little man made his appearance on my blog a year ago and he's grown so much.  Here are a few from our fun beach session with his proud mommy and daddy.

More to come!

Enjoy.

Giving Back

A charity has recently become near and dear to my heart as one of my good friends just had a baby with down syndrome.  In support of her son and all of the other amazing children with down syndrome, for the months of February and March, I will be donating 15% of all proceeds to the National Down Syndrome Society.  Please email or call to book your session.  If you are not in need of portraits at this time, think of giving a gift certificate or just donating to this amazing cause by going to another amazing mom's page and donating through her site http://ndss.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=1010652&supid=318966917#

Many thanks,
Rosie

The Gabrielson Family

This family was such a pleasure to work with.  They were all so happy and such a loving family.  I had a hard time deciding which ones were going on this post because they were all so good. Enjoy!
